Day 11 Bakersfield

After breakfast we headed to Ethel's Old Corral for one of our favourite gigs of the year.

The guys got to meet some old friends.....here is Craig with Bre, showing off her new shirt!

We rocked through 4 sets, playing from 3-7pm, although the locals said it was quite chilly at 97 degrees!!!!!

but we did get the crowd up dancing...

After the show, some well earned food at Narducci's Cafe and then over to some buddies house - AJ - to take him up on his offer of shooting some guns that we were too hungover to do last year!!!!

 oh yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

A great night!!!! 

Day 10 - Pomona - Bakersfield

Short 2 hour drive north to Bakersfield for our annual visit. We met Natalie and Larry at Luigi's restaurant which was packed and had incredible food.

Then off to The Pyrenees Bar, for some live music.....

 Craig was chatting to a guy at the bar who mentioned his bike was outside, this is a restored Police bike worth around 35 grand!!!

Larry then offered to stay at his ranch, play with the dogs & toys!!!!!

Day 9 Culver City - Pomona LA

Up around 10, sat having breakfast and chatting with John, before setting off across town to head for Pomona for tonight's gig.

The band went for In N Out burger - sorry no photos - the food didn't last long enough!!! Was basically inhaled by everyone, then chilled in the room.

The Tiki Creeps opened the show at Character's Bar, and then we went on second, for a rare 1 setter, which went well.

Day 8 Santa Monica - Culver City

Today the band headed down to Venice Beach to take in the sights and sounds. Everyone took off in different directions, Mike to shops, Tom & Dave walked down promenade, JP to skate park, Craig to beach....

meeting back up in the afternoon to head to their buddy - John Grimmer's house. Here is Craig with John's son Alex

Day 6 Santa Barbara

Laundry day in the morning.....

....a drink from Blenders (An American Booster Juice), trying to get some good stuff in the diet!!!!

A walk down the promeande and beach, the guys went off,  Craig had the beach to himself!

Headed to play our show at Whiskey Richards on State Street...

.and had a great time playing 2 rocking sets.
